KIIT-DU Gets New Vice Chancellor

 Professor Saranjit Singh has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of KIIT Deemed to be University. The notification for the selection of the Vice-Chancellor was published following due procedure and thorough scrutiny. In the final stage, Prof. Singh’s name was submitted to the Chancellor of KIIT-DU, Mr. Ashok Parija. Considering all aspects, including teaching and administrative experience, the Chancellor appointed Prof. Singh as the Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU. 

Since its inception, KIIT-DU has had distinguished academicians and scientists as Vice-Chancellors. Expressing his happiness, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, congratulated Professor Singh and expressed hope that KIIT-DU will achieve greater success under his leadership. Prof. Singh is the 11th VC of KIIT DU.

KISS Students Excel in 10th Board Exam

  Achieve 100% Results for 17 Consecutive Years   Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has posted a 100% result in the 10th Board Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, results of which were declared on 26th May, 2024. The state average is around 96.7%. For over 17 years, since its inception, the School has been achieving almost 100% results in the Board Exams. As many as 2008 students appeared for the exam, the highest for any school in the State, out of whom 40% students secured 60% marks and the rest secured more than 50% marks. Sagun Tudu topped the school with 90% marks. Fifty students from the Saura, Bonda, and Paudi Bhuyan communities of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) performed well in the examination with good marks, while students of KISS from the neighbouring state of Jharkhand also excelled in the matric board examination.
